As a key step both to support its customers and to establish a foundation for its ongoing growth into targeted markets, Asolvi has announced the appointment of three regional managing directors. These newly-created roles will enhance and develop the existing locally-based contacts, expertise and support for new and existing customers.
The three new posts, covering the DACH region, the UK and Ireland and the Nordic countries, will be taken by Armin Alt, Michael Burke and Jørgen Nytrø respectively. All three have extensive executive-level experience and will be based within the markets that they will be managing. Armin came on board with Asolvi as part of the company’s recent acquisition of PerformIT, while Mike joined the company in 2019 when Purpose Software was acquired. Jørgen’s experience with Evatic, one of the founder members of the Asolvi portfolio, stretches back to 2013.
Commenting on the appointments, which come into effect immediately, Pål Rødseth, the CEO of Asolvi, said: “First and foremost, this move is about providing customer focus. Our current and future customers need to have locally-based contacts who can provide all the necessary guidance at the right time and in the right language. As Asolvi has expanded, so has the need for us to move our customer-focused activities to be more regionally-based.”
As part of the re-structure, Tony Milford will also take on a new role. This will focus both on Asolvi’s partners and also on the company’s flagship Vantage Online solution, as it is launched into the Nordic market and subsequently into the fire and security sector. “Tony is a key figure both in Asolvi and within the wider service management software market. He will play a pivotal role in helping the group to grow and prosper over the coming years”, commented Pål Rødseth.
With Asolvi having made two major acquisitions (both in Germany) in recent months, the ability to manage the future ambitious growth of the group is also critical, as Pål Rødseth explains: “Moving decision-making and responsibility to a regionally-based structure is not only important for customers, it also puts Asolvi in the right place to cater for future growth.” He concluded: “These new appointments provide the basis for Asolvi to continue to evolve and grow. We will only do that by focusing firmly on the customer, and the new roles for Armin, Mike, Jørgen and Tony are critical in achieving this.”
